Hey everybody!!!
It's been several weeks now and I know that I have not blogged since my last post while I was in Seattle. Just wanted to leave you a note that I am still here, only I had some crazy things happen once I returned from our vacation. First of all, I get hit hard with the flu virus and that ended up getting passed around in my household between my son and husband. Being sick while taking care of others, is physically and mentally draining. I don't know how I survived it except the good Lord above must have carried me through it. Then, there had been a tragic loss in my extended family circle which is still leaving many of us in shock and disbelief. It's been said that "when it rains, it pours", and that is exactly what it seemed like for me this past couple of weeks. Despite all of that, I do have to mention that our vacation in Seattle was very memorable for us and just thinking of it, always seems to help me feel A LOT better.... I have hundreds of photos to sort through, but I promise to share my favorites soon.
Now, are you ready for some GOOD news to clear all the negative out of the way? Yeah? Alright, well I would like to announce....
On March 4th, I was blessed to be by my sister and her husband's side, while they gave birth to a beautiful 10 pound baby boy--Ilyas (Elias). This precious boy and his mommy finally went home today and I can't wait to watch him grow and capture the sweet moments of this little man's life.... I'm so thankful for the opportunity to be an Auntie again :)

Okay, so I know that there hasn't been anything NEW from me lately, but that's because I was sick like a dog and dealing with major creative block. But, my mojo has been pretty juicy lately so I am back to my routine again with some new stuff in the works. Plus, I've been asked to be a guest designer for the month of April over at...... Well, it'll be a surprise so please keep your ears and eyes peeled for that! Heehee...
Again, I want to THANK all of you who have been leaving me comments and enjoying the freebie quick page that I created for you!!! I read all of them and I'm so tickled that many of you appreciate my gift. So thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Oooohhhh Dahlia! Congratulations to your sister and husband on the birth of sweet and precious Ilyas! WOW! Ten pounds of baby all at once. My twins together, who were full-term, weighed in at 13 pounds, but came out in two packages!
How exciting to be an Auntie again! Babies are just "the best" and it never ceases to amaze me just how much happens in the first year of life!
I received your new newsletter earlier and, well, goodness girl, stepping out of your comfort zone quite becomes you! GORGEOUS!
Oh, and I "know" where you will be popping in as a guest this month. Nope, I'm not telling! ROFL! I know, what a hoot, huh? *wink*
I shall see you soon and wish you a LOVELY rest of the month of March. Hope to be seeing the sun REAL soon. I do believe it is supposed to make an appearance for most of next week! LOL!
